Mot alla odds lyckades framsynta personer i de fem kommunerna N\u00e4ssj\u00f6, Eksj\u00f6, Hultsfred, H\u00f6gsby och Oskarshamn tillsammans med flera tusen j\u00e4rnv\u00e4gsarbetare och andra vid banbygget skapa en j\u00e4rnv\u00e4g som h\u00e5llit och utvecklats under 150 \u00e5r. Sedan invigning \u00e5r 1874 har j\u00e4rnv\u00e4gsstr\u00e4ckan inneburit en l\u00e4nk mellan m\u00e4nniskor, samh\u00e4llen och m\u00f6jligheter. J\u00e4rnv\u00e4gen har best\u00e5tt genom epoker av omv\u00e4lvande f\u00f6r\u00e4ndring och framsteg, fr\u00e5n d\u00e5tid till nutid.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>We want to mark this historic anniversary and at the same time look forward by celebrating 150 years of railway history together, with faith in the future.<\/p>\n<p><em>-J\u00e4rnv\u00e4gsstr\u00e4ckans 150-\u00e5rs jubileum \u00e4r ett fantastiskt s\u00e4tt att uppm\u00e4rksamma den j\u00e4rnv\u00e4g som sammanl\u00e4nkar v\u00e5rt omr\u00e5de och vilken resurs detta \u00e4r. I en f\u00f6r\u00e4nderlig tid vill vi kunna visa p\u00e5 vad j\u00e4rnv\u00e4gen har betytt och fortfarande betyder f\u00f6r v\u00e5r bygd, s\u00e4ger Torbj\u00f6rn Midunger, projektledare och styrelsemedlem i Astrid Lindgrens hembygd.<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Uppm\u00e4rksammandet av jubileet koordineras av Astrid Lindgrens Hembygd och \u00e4r ett projekt som finansieras med pengar ur EU:s landsbygdsfond, stat och kommunal medfinansiering. Inf\u00f6r jubileet tar Astrid Lindgrens Hembygd fram en jubileumsskrift som sammanfattar j\u00e4rnv\u00e4gens historia och visar p\u00e5 dess potentiella utveckling f\u00f6r framtiden.<\/p>\n<p>Syftet med projektet \u00e4r att aktualisera fr\u00e5gan om vikten av h\u00e5llbara transporter f\u00f6r hela omr\u00e5det. Transportfr\u00e5gan har lyfts upp som viktig f\u00f6r kommunerna i Astrid Lindgrens hembygds leaderomr\u00e5de utifr\u00e5n attraktivitet f\u00f6r b\u00e5de n\u00e4ringsliv och allm\u00e4nhet. The area was one of Sweden&#039;s first Leader areas and the first Leader project was granted back in 1997. Over the years, hundreds of small and large projects have been implemented with money from Leader. Exciting concepts have been tested, new activities have been created and existing ones have been developed.<\/p>\n<p>Astrid Lindgren has, like few others, conveyed the image of the Swedish countryside and the importance of the people, ideas and the power of action that exist here, not least among children and young people. Working with sustainable development of our countryside is the driving force behind Astrid Lindgren&#039;s Hometown and we want to do it in the spirit of Astrid Lindgren - with courage, wisdom and ingenuity.<\/p>\n<p>The association&#039;s mission is to distribute project support for local rural development, so-called Leader support, with funding from the EU Rural Development Fund, the state and municipal co-financing. The Leader method is based on local initiatives and anchoring and the work is done based on a local development strategy. Astrid Lindgren&#039;s Hometown Leader area covers northern Sm\u00e5land and southern \u00d6sterg\u00f6tland with the 10 municipalities: Aneby, Eksj\u00f6, Hultsfred, H\u00f6gsby, Kinda, N\u00e4ssj\u00f6, Vetlanda, Vimmerby, Ydre and part of Oskarshamn municipality.
