Odling som pedagogiskt verktyg<\/h1>\n

Astrid Lindgrens Hembygd ger medel till det odlingsprojekt som Eksj\u00f6 kommun har ans\u00f6kt om hos f\u00f6reningen. Astrid Lindgrens Hembygds styrelse fattade beslut om projektet i h\u00f6stas och nu har Jordbruksverket granskat ans\u00f6kan och gett sitt klartecken.<\/p>\n

Initiativtagare till projektet \u00e4r Gun Svensson, som arbetar som m\u00e5ltidsutvecklare i Eksj\u00f6 kommun. Hon beskriver syftet med projektet som att l\u00e4gga grunden till ett v\u00e4xande intresse hos barn och elever f\u00f6r odling och visa p\u00e5 ett konkret s\u00e4tt var maten kommer ifr\u00e5n, n\u00e5got som man hoppas ska fr\u00e4mja en h\u00e5llbar livsstil.<\/p>\n

Projektet inneb\u00e4r att ett antal f\u00f6rskolor i kommunen kommer att f\u00e5 en odlingspl\u00e4tt p\u00e5 sin g\u00e5rd och under odlings\u00e5ret kommer man att f\u00e5 regelbundna bes\u00f6k av projektets egen odlare som p\u00e5 ett pedagogiskt s\u00e4tt l\u00e4r ut grunderna i odling.<\/p>\n

Linnea Granath \u00e4r den som kommer driva projektet och hon \u00e4r anst\u00e4lld som projektledare av Eksj\u00f6 kommun.<\/p>\n

– Genom projektet kommer de deltagande barnen att f\u00e5 en b\u00e4ttre f\u00f6rst\u00e5else f\u00f6r gr\u00f6nsakernas v\u00e4g fr\u00e5n jord till bord och denna kunskap hoppas vi ska kunna tas vidare till barnens familjer. Vi vill v\u00e4cka intresset f\u00f6r odling och visa p\u00e5 hur roligt och l\u00e4rorikt det \u00e4r. Det handlar om s\u00e5 mycket mer \u00e4n just att odla gr\u00f6nsaker. Hur vi f\u00e5r vi jorden att m\u00e5 bra , nyttiga insekter att trivas och hur fr\u00f6er blir till. Hur m\u00e5nga vuxna har egentligen ens t\u00e4nkt p\u00e5 hur morotsfr\u00f6n blir till? Det kommer barnen som deltar i projektet kunna ber\u00e4tta i h\u00f6st, s\u00e4ger Linnea Granath.<\/p>\n
