Preserve culture and natural environments

 Hultsfred municipality has been granted leader support for the project Preserve and develop cultural and natural environments for the next generation. The project involves collaboration with local heritage associations and means that historically interesting environments are highlighted and made accessible to more people. 

Activities in the project include: 

– Selection of cultural environments that we together find interesting for the next generation.
– Improve information consisting of texts and images. The effort is made in collaboration with associations and
The County Administrative Board.
– New and improved signage.
– Complement the physical information with digital forwarding for even more text, images, and film.
– Improve the information on the local heritage association's website, visithultsfred.se and Tripadvisor, Google.
– Development of management plans for the majority of the environments.
– Marketing campaign to encourage residents to visit their local
cultural heritage.

The fundamental purpose is to ensure that our local cultural environments are available in our time and for future
generations. Both in the physical environment and as digital information. Unfortunately, we can see a significant decline in the physical environment.
Overgrown places and information that is barely readable. The aim is to highlight the importance of maintaining these environments
and that information and history are preserved.
