Applications through Redo now open for Vetlanda Municipality

Over 50 committed participants gathered for an evening about local preparedness - and now associations in Vetlanda municipality can apply for up to SEK 25,000 for preparedness initiatives through the umbrella project Redo (apply by March 31, 2026).

In early February, Astrid Lindgren's hometown invited people to a preparedness meeting. Over 50 committed people gathered at Judiths Hantverksbageri for an inspiring evening about local preparedness.

During the evening, we talked about how associations can seek support for initiatives that strengthen local preparedness. There were many important conversations about how we can prepare our communities together – through collaboration, knowledge and local commitment.

We also took part in the appreciated lecture "From worry to grower's joy", where Eva Ekenberg from the Cultivation Academy shared concrete and inspiring tips about:

🌱 cultivation and nature's pantry
🥕 processing and storage
🌾 how cultivation can become part of local preparedness

With us during the evening were also the Adult Education Association, Hela Sverige ska leva and Medborgarskolan, who talked about their activities and how they work with preparedness in the form of study circles and course evenings, among other things.

Many thanks to everyone who participated and contributed to a warm, curious and hopeful atmosphere!
