Partnership for the future – youth and adults in collaboration

Partnership future – youth and adults in collaboration has been granted project support by Astrid Lindgren's homeland. The project is run by Emilkraften in Mariannelund and aims to develop new methods to strengthen youth influence and create better collaboration between youth, associations, schools, and decision-makers.

The project has a clear local anchoring through Emilkraften's member organizations, Eksjö municipality, schools, the Children and Youth Council, and several other local actors who have participated in the planning and will contribute during the implementation.

During the project period, workshops, hackathons, inspirational lectures, and dialogue meetings will be conducted, among other activities. A new network – Junior Advisors – will be established to create a long-term meeting place where youth and decision-makers meet on equal terms. The project will also produce a method handbook with experiences and tools that can be used by municipalities, associations, and other organizations that want to strengthen youth participation in community development. Together, the activities create a model for a more inclusive and sustainable community building where youth perspectives are taken into account.
