Since the German family Degen moved to Sweden a few years ago, they have filled a historic farm by Emån with life. Here they have, among other things, planted hundreds of native forest and fruit trees, bushes, and hedges to create a forest landscape with high biodiversity.
The farm's cultivation follows the principles of permaculture, where one works with nature instead of against it. Natural cycles are utilized, resources are saved, and waste is regarded as valuable raw materials. Mixed cropping, permanent planting, soil improvement, and water management ensure that the systems remain stable and resilient in the long term.
In the farm shop, there are freshly picked fruits and vegetables from the garden as well as many delicious homemade products, all of the highest organic quality!
The family also runs tourist accommodation, a summer café, and offers parking spaces on the farm.
