Everyone is welcome!

The project involves that new changing rooms and shower facilities will be built, which gives girls in the association and visiting teams the same access to these facilities as boys. The goal is that no one should have to change associations or stop their sports activities due to a lack of equal conditions, which is especially important for families without a car and for girls living around Ydre municipality.
The investment also means that Ydreskolan will be able to utilize the facility to a greater extent and a plan for collaboration exists.

Astrid Lindgren's Hembygd has granted 638,250 kronor to the project, which has a total budget of 988,250 kronor. The remaining funding comes from RF Sisu, which contributes 300,000 kronor, and Ydre municipality, which supports the project with 50,000 kronor.

The formal decision on project support is made by the Swedish Board of Agriculture.

Goals of the project:

• Prepare changing rooms and shower facilities at Bulevallen to promote equal sports participation.
• Ensure that all youth, regardless of gender, can continue to participate in sports in their home municipality without having to seek other associations.
• Strengthen local sports in Ydre municipality and enable all children and youth to participate in organized sports on equal terms.
