Health in the Highlands

Health in Höglandet is a development project aimed at strengthening entrepreneurs in the health sector and increasing Höglandet's attractiveness as a place to live, work, and visit. Through skills-enhancing initiatives, network building, and joint marketing, the project will contribute to increased visibility and collaboration among local actors.

About the project

The purpose of the project:
The project aims to strengthen both entrepreneurship in the health sector and Höglandet's attractiveness as a year-round destination. Through education, inspiration, collaboration, and joint activities, a stronger network will be built among local entrepreneurs. A special effort is being made to create a joint web portal and produce professional image and film material that showcases the area's opportunities for both residents and visitors – locally, regionally, nationally, and internationally. Through this, not only is the visibility of the businesses strengthened, but also the perception that they are colleagues rather than competitors.

Project goals:

  • Conduct 12 training sessions, workshops, and lectures to enhance the skills of participating entrepreneurs.

  • Create a joint website for the network ”Health in Höglandet.”.

  • Develop a professional image and film bank that showcases the area's offerings.

  • Conceptualize and arrange a brand new annual event: Health Round, where the network's businesses are highlighted.
