Regenerated IO
The project will develop a digital tool that helps farmers plan, map, and manage agroforestry systems. By combining modern technology with regenerative agriculture, the project aims to make it easier to cultivate with greater biodiversity and increased resilience.
About the project
Agroforestry, where trees and shrubs are integrated with agricultural crops and animal husbandry, is a cultivation method that can contribute to increased biodiversity, better resilience, and more sustainable agriculture. At the same time, cultivation becomes more complex when many different tree species, varieties, and management efforts need to be coordinated. The project will develop a digital tool that meets this challenge by combining GIS, RTK positioning, drones, sensors, and machine learning in a user-friendly platform.
The tool will provide the grower with a clear overview of trees and shrubs, planned management measures, and data from drones and sensors. The first version will be tested on a farm in Skärbäck outside Ramkvilla, with the ambition to eventually be used by more growers and further developed together with other companies, organizations, and universities.
Astrid Lindgren's Hembygd has granted the project support within the intervention area of Refined local resources. Through this initiative, the leader area aims to contribute to the development of innovative solutions that strengthen sustainable and competitive agriculture and create benefits for more growers in the future.

With support from Leader Astrid Lindgren's Hembygd, Emilkraften will develop new working methods to strengthen young people's participation in community development. The project is based on local collaboration and includes activities such as idea workshops, dialogue meetings, and networks for young people.
