Renovation and development of Välenbadet in Fagerhult
Välenbadets Camping AB has applied for project support to develop and adapt Välenbadet in Fagerhult to make it more accessible. The goal is to create a safe, attractive and inclusive meeting place for both residents and visitors of all ages.
The project includes new wooden piers for swimming and playing, accessible ramps and swimming opportunities for people with reduced mobility, as well as improved conditions for swimming school activities and recreational swimming. The initiative will also contribute to increased community, outdoor life and tourism in the area.
The project aims to strengthen Fagerhult's attractiveness, create more opportunities for recreation and contribute to increased tourism and local development. The project is being carried out in collaboration between Välenbadets Camping AB, Högsby Municipality, Fagerhultsbygdens Community Association and other local actors.
