We are pleased that ten companies have been granted leader checks and we are working to ensure there will be more!
The projects that have received support so far have involved everything from creating websites and investing in marketing to organizing music events.

All applications are handled in the order they are received and must be complete and concrete to be considered by our decision group. The decision group, which consists of three board members from Astrid Lindgren's Homeland, has decision meetings continuously.

Astrid Lindgren's Homeland opened up the opportunity to apply for a leader check within our umbrella project Developed Business.

Who could apply?

Smaller companies with a maximum of 50 employees that operate in Astrid Lindgren's Homeland, namely: Aneby, Eksjö, Hultsfred, Högsby, Kinda, Nässjö, Vetlanda, Vimmerby, Ydre, and part of Oskarshamn municipality. Note: Maximum one application per company.

What could one seek support for?

One could apply for expenses needed to achieve new development ideas. These development ideas could be in areas such as training or study visits, marketing, new products, and services.

Note that a leader check cannot be used for investment costs. This applies to physical or intangible (such as patents, licenses, and software) investments over 24,000 kronor excluding VAT or 30,000 kronor including VAT and that have a lifespan of more than three years. Connections to investments are also included in the investment cost, such as shipping, assembly, earthworks, consulting fees, etc.

Logos

If you produce any kind of information within the project, you must display our logo and the EU co-financing logo in the material. If you as a beneficiary have a website and social media, you must display our logo and the EU co-financing logo there. Read more about what applies in the document: Terms and conditions.

How much can you apply for?

One could apply for project support for 70% of the total budget (maximum cap of 40,000 kronor). Private co-financing must be at least 30% of the total budget. Keep in mind to have a maximum of 5 expense items in your budget and that the total budget cost must be between 14,300 kronor and 100,000 kronor.

We process applications continuously and when an application is selected, complete, and decided by the decision group, you will be notified.
