The board of Astrid Lindgren's Hometown consists of 21 representatives from our member municipalities. The board is responsible for ensuring that we work based on our local development strategy and decides on the distribution of leader support.

An important part of rural development according to the Leader method is local anchoring. The board of Astrid Lindgren's Hometown consists of 21 members representing their respective municipalities. The board has an even distribution of representatives from the non-profit, public and private sectors. The board is elected by the association's members at the annual meeting.
