Astrid Lindgren's Hometown's processing of personal data

Astrid Lindgren's Hometown processes personal data that is necessary for the operation and to be able to fulfill our commitments. The purposes include support management, statistics, information, follow-up, evaluation, analysis and archival purposes supported by legal obligation and public interest. 

Information according to GDPR

Astrid Lindgren's Hometown strives to ensure that all information, regardless of who owns it, is handled in a controlled, secure and structured manner in accordance with GDPR – General Data Protection Regulation.

How is personal data collected and stored?

Personal data is collected through, for example, web forms, e-mail, digital or paper applications and telephone calls. The data may also be supplemented with information from public registers and authorities.

If you are, or have been, a participant with us, your information will only be stored for as long as is necessary for Astrid Lindgren's Hometown to be able to administer the matter or for as long as we are required to store it by law/agreement. After that, it will be deleted according to the applicable processing routine. We do not delete personal data when there is a legal requirement to store it, for example according to applicable accounting rules and EU regulations. We use de-identified information for statistical purposes and course development.

We never disclose your personal data to third parties.

Newsletters and web news

The information used to send out newsletters and information about Astrid Lindgren's Hometown activities is only saved as long as you are a subscriber. When you unsubscribe, we delete your personal information.

Notifications

Personal data provided in connection with registrations for lectures or meetings is only saved for as long as is required for administration, i.e. sending out materials and evaluation surveys.

Application for support and payment

Applications for support and payments are made in the Swedish Board of Agriculture's IT system. The Swedish Board of Agriculture is the data controller for the processing of personal data provided in the application for support or payments.

Your rights

You have certain rights under data protection legislation. If you wish to exercise any of your rights, please contact the Astrid Lindgren's Hometown office.

Access to your personal data – you have the right to receive confirmation of whether we are processing your personal data and an extract of what data is being processed.

Request correction – you have the right to have incorrect information corrected.

Request to be deleted – you have the right to have your data deleted under certain circumstances.
