About the project

Mellingerum's lodge

The project aims to develop Mellingerum's Berry and Vegetable Farm by utilizing existing but currently underutilized space and creating a flexible space for year-round operations. By preparing and adapting a building, it is possible to broaden the business with a focus on weddings, conferences, courses and other events.

The initiative makes it possible to offer comprehensive solutions for weddings – from weddings and flower arrangements to food and entertainment – and create new opportunities for companies to hold conferences and activities in an inspiring rural environment. The project also means that course activities in areas such as flower arranging, cultivation and cooking can be developed and carried out regardless of the weather and with greater capacity.

Through collaborations with local actors and specialists in cultivation, food, drink and education, a varied range of activities and knowledge dissemination is created. The project contributes to increased attractiveness for the area, strengthens the local business community and creates conditions for more visitors all year round.

In the long term, the investment is expected to provide a more stable and sustainable business through more revenue streams, reduced seasonal variation and better utilization of existing resources.
